These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the services provided by BestEditLab ("we," "us," or "our") and constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "Customer," or "User") and BestEditLab. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

1. Risk-Free First Order

Your first project is eligible for our Risk-Free Order policy. You will only be required to pay if you are 100% satisfied with the final result. This policy applies to your first project only and cannot be extended or repeated. All future projects are subject to full prepayment.

2. Payment Terms

All invoices are issued and payable exclusively through Payoneer. We do not accept payments via PayPal, credit cards, or any other platforms. An invoice will be sent after the final version (with watermark) is delivered. Upon payment, you will receive the full-resolution, watermark-free version. Except for your first Risk-Free Order, all payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Delivery Policy

Standard turnaround time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on workload and complexity. Revisions are completed within 24–48 hours when possible. Rush orders are accepted for an additional fee upon prior agreement.

4. Creative Direction and Responsibility

To ensure your project reflects your style and expectations from the beginning, we highly recommend that you provide detailed creative notes before editing begins. This includes your preferences as a videographer, specific requests from your couple (if any), selected music tracks, preferred LUTs, or visual references.

Clear direction at the start helps us deliver a result that matches your vision and avoids unnecessary revisions or misunderstandings. Projects submitted without sufficient guidance will be edited in our default cinematic storytelling style, based on best editorial judgment.

Significant changes requested later that could have been communicated upfront may result in additional fees. Please take the time to define your vision clearly in advance.

5. Revisions

Each project includes two free rounds of revisions. A revision round is defined as one consolidated list of reasonable requests submitted at one time. All revision requests must be made within 5 days after delivery, otherwise the project will be considered completed.

Free revision rounds are intended for minor adjustments that do not exceed approximately 20% of the total project. This may include trimming or extending specific shots, adjusting transitions, fixing pacing, replacing short clips, or refining titles. Music track replacements are not included in free revisions and will incur an additional fee. Substantial changes should be outlined during the initial notes phase.

Any additional rounds of revisions beyond the included two may incur extra charges, typically starting from $30 per round, depending on complexity and scope. You will always be notified and asked for confirmation before any charges are applied.

Revision requests that involve re-editing large portions of the film, changing the overall structure, replacing full music tracks, or introducing new footage not originally submitted may be considered a new project or subject to higher fees.

6. Content Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of all source footage and original content provided. We retain the right to showcase excerpts of completed work in our portfolio or promotional materials unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing before payment.

7. Client Responsibility for Provided Content

Clients are solely responsible for securing appropriate licenses for all submitted content, including music, images, video footage, and voice recordings. BestEditLab assumes no liability for any copyright violations or claims resulting from unauthorized content provided by the client.

If you submit content (e.g., music from YouTube or non-licensed sources), you agree to indemnify and hold BestEditLab harmless against all legal, financial, or reputational consequences. We do not verify the licensing of third-party content and cannot be held responsible for its use.

This includes any content created using AI tools, for which the client is solely responsible regarding licensing and usage rights.

8. AI and Automation Use

We may use AI tools for color correction, audio cleanup, subtitle generation, or editing speed optimization under strict human supervision. These tools do not compromise the confidentiality or quality of your project.

9. File Storage and Retention

We retain your raw footage, working files, and final exports for up to 30 days after project completion unless agreed otherwise. After that, all files may be deleted without notice. You are responsible for backing up and storing your own media.

10. Responsibility for Source Files

We are not responsible for corrupted, incomplete, poor-quality, or damaged footage, audio, or other materials provided by the client. The client assumes full responsibility for the technical quality of all submitted content.

11. Fraud Protection and Identity Verification

We reserve the right to request identity verification or refuse/refund any suspicious orders. We retain client metadata, including IP addresses and order history, to detect and prevent fraud or impersonation.

12. Defamation and False Claims

You agree not to post defamatory, misleading, or harmful public statements about BestEditLab. Unresolved complaints should be discussed with us directly before any public disclosure. False claims may result in legal action.

13. Right to Decline or Terminate Work

We reserve the right to decline or terminate services at any time, especially in cases involving inappropriate behavior, offensive content, copyright-infringing material, or excessive revision demands. Upon termination of services, all work will cease immediately, and no additional revisions or file deliveries will be made. Files may be deleted without notice.

14. No Commercial Guarantee

We do not guarantee any commercial results, engagement, or performance from edited content. Final product use is at the client’s discretion and risk.

15. Misuse of Previews

All preview versions contain watermarks and are for review purposes only. Using or sharing previews without full payment is prohibited. Any unauthorized use may result in legal and financial consequences.

Previews may not be shared, posted, or published on social media or public platforms before full payment is made.

16. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages, losses, delays, or claims arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.

17. Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. All legal disputes must be resolved exclusively in Delaware courts.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and BestEditLab regarding our services and supersedes any prior agreements or discussions.

21. Digital Acceptance

By using this website, submitting an order, or communicating with us, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions without the need for a physical signature.

22. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, illness, internet outages, or third-party service interruptions.

23. Right to Modify Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

24. No Chargebacks

Initiating chargebacks or unauthorized payment reversals through Payoneer or financial institutions will be treated as a violation of this Agreement and may result in permanent termination of services and legal action.

25. Client Content Restrictions

You agree not to submit any content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to reject such content without explanation.

26. Third-Party Platform Disclaimer

We use trusted third-party platforms (such as Dropbox) to deliver files. We are not responsible for their availability, performance, or any data loss resulting from their services.

27. Minimum Age Requirement

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and older. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

28. Portfolio Use Clarification

If you do not explicitly decline portfolio use before payment, we may display anonymized excerpts or watermark-protected previews of your project in our portfolio.

29. Accuracy of Client Information

You confirm that all personal, payment, and content-related information provided to us is accurate and truthful. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate termination of services.

30. Repeat Orders and Continued Use

By placing any additional order after your initial project—whether through our website or directly via email—you confirm your continued acceptance of the current Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. All future projects will be governed by the latest version of these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
